Privacy
Privacy on this site
A short page, because there is little to describe. This site sets no cookies, runs no third party scripts and asks for nothing.
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, loads no fonts, scripts, images or stylesheets from anywhere else, and carries no analytics, no advertising and no social widgets. There is no form to fill in, no account to create and no newsletter to join. Nothing on a page reports back that you read it.
Server records
The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like every web host, keeps ordinary technical records of the requests it serves in order to run the service and defend it against abuse. Those records are the host's, they are not read page by page by the desk, and they are not used to build any profile of a reader.
If you write to the desk
An email sent to the desk is read by a person and kept only for as long as it takes to deal with it and to check any correction it produced. It is not added to a mailing list, not passed to anyone else and not used to contact you about anything other than your own message. Please do not send health information about yourself or anyone else: the desk cannot use it, cannot answer a clinical question, and would rather not hold it. Anything of that kind is deleted.
Changes to this page
If any of this changes, this page changes with it and its date changes to the day of the change. There is no archived version of a privacy statement that quietly stops being true. What the desk is responsible for is on the editorial policy, and the address is on contact the desk.
